The Location

Situated in the magnificent Tasmanian Central Highlands and nestled beside the stunning Derwent Valley, Rathmore is an historic sheep property settled in 1828.

The Blues in the Barn events have been made possible through the kindness of the owners of Rathmore House, Cally and Richard Lyons.

Rathmore lies at 2158 Hollow Tree Road (B110), Hollow Tree at the junction with the Marked Tree Road (C181) about 90km from Hobart CBD.
